Tibidabo is a mountain 512 meters above Barcelona which boasts of spectacular views over the city. Not only is it known for its panorama opportunities but on it also resides one of the oldest amusement parks in Spain as well as a majestic church (Church of the Sacred Heart / Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón in Spanish / Sagrat Cor in Catalan).
The Tibidabo funpark has many vomit-inducing rides, most of which pert rude from the mountain giving you a free-fall view of Barcelona below. I was too scared to actually ride any of them but all I can remember from being up there was that I could not stop taking pictures. The views, the rides, the church… everything makes it a finger trigger happy place. This is a must location for all lomographers and is only a short trip by metro, cable car and funicular to reach from the city centre (approx 40mins).
