Every time I visit Berlin it surprises me, this time TENSTATION - the real Station for Tents in the Centre of Berlin, not far away from best Berlin district Mitte. It is very good hosting in summer time, you feel like you somewhere near the lakes, far away from the city, but here you are very close to it. What is so special - the whole area used to be the huge old open-air swimming pool in the Fritz Schloss Park.

It is very good hosting in summer time, you feel like you somewhere near the lakes, far away from the city, but here you are very close to it. What is so special – the whole area used to be the huge old open-air swimming pool in the Fritz Schloss Park.
The swimming pool is used now for different purposes – smaller part filed with sand for playing handball another left empty for basketball. Close to it there is a 5meterbar, where you may get breakfast, snacks and have party time at night. It seems it never closes. The shower/toilet complex is busy at 7am to 9am. One more special thing there in Tenstation is Fox. The fox that comes and steels your food from when it gets dark. She is not very afraid of people you even can feed her from hands.
