Sapzurro

If the city is kidnapping you, the buildings across your job place throw away the sun to the twilight zone, the summer sky is a stranger for your eyes, and your face, legs, arms and the whole skin over your body have the colour of bones; bound to the insane tv addiction, internet and other miracles, then you urgently need to take yourself away to sunniest, purest and natural areas.

Forget the glamour and glitz of the most famous beaches of the world – Acapulco, Cartagena, Miami… that’s cool and fancy but I’m talking about a real face to face with the simple life. Leave behind the noise, the smog, the traffic jams and your blackmailing boss, instead of all this, enjoy walks through the jungle, along the beach, meet nice people kind and warm. Reach the paradise in a rustic kind – Sapzurro.

It is the last town of Colombia before Panamá. It is a little bay at the Caribbean coast, full of palm trees, bananas and coconuts, you can take a ride over the emerald green waters of the bay on a “panga” (some kind of a small boat), make tricks or treats with a fishermen and change coconuts for fresh fish, watch the stars as long as you wish, well you can do whatever you want. But I must make it clear: this place doesn’t have a close friendship with technology, there is some electricity, but there are no cars, no phones, no computers, anything that reminds you a city. If you cannot enjoy making fire and cooking with woods, get good sleep outside in your sleeping bag and spend more than 3 days without checking your myspace account, maybe you’re not prepared for a place like this. You reach this place walking from Capurganá (see my other location story of Capurganá), asking the people, it can take between 1 or 2 and half hours (or more), depend of your skills and the weight of your equipment.

Hey, the locations are wrong at the map, this sould be near to Turbo, at the north east of Colombia, in the border with Panamá.
Also the other locations placed at "villavicencio" are wrong.
