Visit the place anytime you’re in San Diego, especially when the sun is shining or is just about to set. You`ll see the beautiful ocean, a bridge, boats/ships/ferries, many different birds, many different trees, fountains, a lot of public art, shops and stands, restaurants, and people. Don’t let the tourists frighten you because there are so many different things you’ll find to take pictures of. The Coronado Bridge is a tourist attraction but what is so great about San Diego’s harbor is that you can find yourself in distinct places if you keep walking in any direction. There’s the quaint Seaport Village where you’ll find interesting novel shops and overpriced cookies. Just a few blocks away is San Diego’s own downtown and the Gaslamp Quarter where you can go clubbing or get piss drunk later in the night, but don’t walk too far into downtown because you might find yourself being bummed for a change. If you keep walking westwards along the port you will pass by a nice array of docked boats and yachts. As you walk on the delightful path between rows of trees, you might come upon a huge navy boat or cruise ship. Beyond the ships are the neat Urban Tree sculptures. There are 30 of them placed all along the bay front, waiting to be photographed. And if you’re too tired to walk back to where you started, there’s always people on taxi-bikes willing to give you ride back if you pay them a decent amount of money. Go lomo.
