Pick a hot, sunny, sweltering day to capture an out-of-place feeling that you are somewhere else than Warwickshire, UK. Shoot the horses, the donkeys, all rescued and who all will capture your heart. Then, move out to the wide, open fields to experience a feeling that you are the only person around in this wide-open space.
You’re in a wide-open space, you’re standing all alone…until you hear the snuffle of a small, four-legged animal behind you. At Redwings Rescue Centre, Oxhill, UK, you are guaranteed to fall in love with all of their residents. But you can keep your wedding vows to Mr or Mrs – the residents here are all rescued horses and donkeys brought to the sanctuary for rehabilitation. Most of the residents are more than willing subjects posing for you; capture their noses close-up with a Color splash or get down low to the ground and point that lens up to their majestic form.
Wander down long, dusty tracks to the back of the centre and stand in blazing sunshine with an immense sky glaring down on you. Perfect for creating a look of "middle-America’ without hopping on a plane, the vastness of the countryside and the blue sky above can be captured timelessly; try it with Holga or Horizon.
