Mount Soledad (San Diego)
on May 9th, 2008 (0 votes)

When to go? When the skies are clear, the night view is just as beautiful as the day view.

What to see? A grandeur panoramic view of San Diego. You can see the ocean/beaches, downtown, the surrounding landscape, expensive homes, a veteran’s memorial.

Despite the overbearing cross and occasional worship singer, the view is worth experiencing. If you like landscape shots this is a great place to go. One of the best places to go to watch the sunset in southern California. Even though the city lights glow at night, it can be pretty dark so you’re welcome to bring a flashlight. If you see some shaking cars, but do not let that bother you. It’s a different and distant view of another existent world.
