Everybody know how much diversity is there in San Francisco. There are many groups of people, many cultures and ways of thinking. The towns population in formed by many nationalities and Mission St. is where you can mostly get in touch with Mexican culture. You don’t really need to talk to the people around to absorb the way they think or live.
They have been writing on the walls, buildings and houses. Everybody in this town know this special place as an “Mural neighborhood”. Mexican muralists express themselves about their struggle, happiness, culture with painting on the wall, chapels and on their houses. Every small crossing and street is interesting to see. Many paintings of unbelievable size. It is amazing just to stand there and appreciate. It will make you think about the effort and how much these people want to share their experience.
The paintings always change too. It is like a blackboard that people come and write something on and another person writes something as a reply to it. I always go on and explore Mission St. when I have time. It is the place where I’m always happy to take some shots and learn something about life.
