Lamesa Eco Park

At the heart of the urban jungle of Quezon City lies a real jungle of sorts. Rehabilitated and repackaged for families, the Lamesa Dam is now known as the Lamesa Eco Park. Growing up near the place we used to run around the lush vast plains not minding the dangers the steep cliffs posted. Happy times but in the interest of political correctness everything is safe there now as I visited a few weeks back.

All 33 hectares are now repackaged for your lomogrpahic desire and family fun with butterfly farms, mountain bike trails, swimming pools and picnic grounds. Biggest problem would be the lack of light if you’re within the arches of the canopy of trees. I should know since I wasted 2 rolls of Holga shots there haha. Just use high ISO film or let the A setting of your LC-A do the dirty work. Getting there is easy! Just take a jeep going to Fairview in Quezon City and go down at East Fairview and take a cab or better yet, a tricycle to go directly there.
