La Miel

La Miel (in english “The Honey”) is a small town at the border line Colombia – Panama. As its name indicates the site is pure honey: quiet, soft and 100% sweet tranquillity. Few families are living there, but it is mainly a policemen town. There is a Panama’s guard station; they’re very nice people friendly and cooperative.
Which was my experience, I don’t know if the fact of being a girl with other two ladies has some influence over the police guys. However lady or gentleman, the weather is fantastic, the landscapes awesome! The sunset happens behind the mountains bringing to you lovely colours and shapes. To reach this location you can use the following route: first place yourself at Capurganá (Colombia), later to Sapzurro (asking to the
villagers how do it) (read my location stories about those sites), then it is so easy, at Sapzurro the path is clear, its main street has signals with arrows indicates the pathway to La Miel, follow the arrows until a small mountain with upstairs, climb it to the top, you’ll see the flags of the two neighbor countries and ta dah! There is: Honey for your eyes. There are some police guards, they will ask you some facts like your name, hometown, age, etc… you don’t need passport or alike.
