Del Monte Plantation (Bukidnon)
written by cruzron on May 9th, 2008 (0 votes)

In the sleepy province of Bukidnon lies a vast and lush landscape where hectares upon hectares of juicy pineapples are ripe for the picking. The Del Monte Pineapple Plantation is one of the region’s more popular tourist destinations. If you arrive early, you will be treated to an eat-all-you-can feast of freshly harvested pineapples.

After surveying the field, you can relax and play a round of golf at the golf course. One of their specialties there is the steak, where the cow only eats pineapple since its infancy, lending a one-of-a-kind taste and experience. Getting there is a 2 hour bumpy ride from Cagayan de Oro. Get in touch with your travel agency for more details but the cost of the ride should be around $20 per person while the steaks should cost roughly the same.
