Canet Plage is often mild, soft, glorious and quiet. Best time to go is between January through to May.
Canet Plage is based in Perpignan, France. The town beyond is small, quiet and glorious – in summer it livens up somewhat and is taken over by tourists. So the best time is between December through to June. I lived in France last year and spent many a day walking around the area of Canet – Canet Plage was soon to become one of my favorite places to be in France.
The whole idea that a beach town can be quiet and somewhere you can escape to is not often found. This is a place full of soft images and the surrounding areas are just as good; long grasses, big walls, endless roads and the occasional local passing by. The sea is amazing and on a calm evening is the best to swim in and watch the sun set behind the harsh surrounding flats and bars. One place in the world that is my favorite is Canet Plage.
