Betong is a small town in Thailand near the border of Malaysia. You can get there real fast from Perak state of Malaysia in 2 to 3 hours driving. You don’t even need a passport if you really wish to travel to this country from Malaysia, you can get a temporary border pass which last for 6 months.
The best I could remember this place is the foods, u can get a lot of stall and restaurant along the street. Definitely popular for seafood because the majority of the people here are agriculturists. Most of the stalls open till midnight. U can use both of the Malaysia and Thailand currency at here and most of them even speak Chinese.
There is a lot of massage parlor and reflexology center here, a real good choice if you are feeling tired and exhausted! For nightlife at Betong, if you are discotheque person there is a few large disco around here. There is some “special” show at a specific time inside the disco too. Remember to load up some film, the weather in Betong is sunny and hot!
