Tibidabo is one of the highest hills surrounding the city of Barcelona (512 m) and is still very close to it to have one of the greatest views over the whole city. There is also a little attraction park, but more meant for children than to adults. You have also the great church of “Sagrat Chor” dominating the hill and not far from there the Colserrola Tower and the different tv and radio networks antennas.

The whole trip to Tibidabo canbe achieved with public transport, first the metro to go full north until avenida Tibidabo (L7), then you change for an antique and charming old tramway called the “Tramvia Blau” and climbing the hill to 350m.
Finally, you must take the “Funicular” that brings you on the top of the mountain. And than, just hold on your breath because you are discovering a great viewpoint over the whole area of Barcelona!! You can admire the view, but also visit the church and the park, and make beautiful and romantic ballads, with your girl- or boyfriend, or your camera, or both if she/he isn’t jealous about your Lomogarphic virus…. ;))) Just enjoy! :)
