Vacation in Amsterdam

Amsterdam... one of my favorite cities I have ever spent my holidays! There are lots of sightseeing objects in Amsterdam, for example the Van Gogh Museum. It is the main museum with Van Goghs works, also very early ones. Also very interesting is the Rijksmuseum, where you can watch Dutch art from 16th to 19th century or the Rembrandthuis, which was the house of Rembrandt (what a surprise!).

Another museum is the Anne-Frank-Huis, where Anne Frank was hiding from the Nazis and where you can get information about this time.

But it is also very interesting to visit the Stedelijk Museum where you can watch modern art. For me it was very impressing… but mostly I enjoyed the multikulti-flair and the open-minded people I’ve met there… and especially the graffiti. When I was there I lived on a campsite for a couple of weeks and every time I wanted to get into the city I passed this motor way bridge full of graffiti. You could watch the artists while they were spraying. Fantastic! But I had to be fast to catch all the impressions with my LC-A, because the images changed every day! Fortunately I am a fast shooteress so I got lots of wonderful colourful pics! But see for yourself!
