The Old Oak
written by golfpunkgirl on April 27th, 2008 (1 vote)

Okay, okay I think we’ve established that I have nothing better to do
with my time than to sit around drinking pints and taking photos but I can’t help that I live so close to all of them. I just thought to share it with anyone who enjoys good beer. The Old Oak is a nice, cosy pub, with ultra low ceilings and candlelit tables. Most of the time there is a match on but if you come early enough and get a table in the front, it could also make for a place where you can have a decent meal (pub fare mind you but still quite good). So if The Hairy Canary is packed (the other pub I suggested), you can come round to this place. Or vice versa. By the way, they have a killer happy hour schedule from 12noon-10pm bottled beers cost only between 1-2euros. Live music on Friday nights. Cheers!
