South Street Seaport
written by tizi on April 27th, 2008 (3 votes)

Besides the sun, the breeze and the sightseeing, the South Street Seaport offers an unmistakeable smell which only the toughest of Lomographers dare expose themselves (and their beloved Lomos) to. Dominated by a big something-or-other shopping mall (absolute highlight: massage chairs in the hallways) where endless of hours can be spent on rainy days, but little is ever bought, the location offers a dominant smell of rotten fish and a generally unfriendly atmosphere coming from the eatery staff. Huge sandwiches are a must for all that dare to enjoy some of the all-American cuisine. Don’t miss out on the masses of Chinese tourists running across the dock, or the action under the bridge.
