Slussen in Sodermalm

Slussen is a metro station and the north area of Sodermalm. Slussen offers you inspiring photo spots, nice galleries, creative shops and cosy places for food and drinks. When you get out from T-Bana (metro), First Use the Gondolen lift to discover a wonderful view over Stockholm, I think I have been there 4 times just for the pleasure to double and double again, enter Gondolen what is a panoramic bar restaurant and get a coffee in a very diplomatic and intellectual atmosphere!!! From the bar, you can see ferries and boats on departures to the archipelago islands and further to Finland, road – bridges to centre Stockholm but no high buildings the horizon is not broken by any bigger architecture, Stockholm is a good compromise between old and new, respectful, careful and useful spaces architecture.
From Gondolen take Kristina Hissen (some kind of bridge) to Mosebacke for a relaxing quiet moment then go to Getgatan a crowded street where you find cheap Monday, Greenpeace and ten designers shop on the same sidewalk. So great atmosphere, Stockholm is only 2 millions people but a real creative and inspiring atmosphere is attending you, the concepts stores and the simple crepes restaurants are in perfect harmony with not much superficial behavior and fake people, no excessive horns as in south of Europe, as a French man, I’m losing with pleasure my decadent behaviors when I’m over there!!
