When I don’t know what to do on the weekend, I usually go to public parks such as QueenSirikit Park, Rama 9 Royal Park, Suanluang, Lumpini Park and Benjakiti Park. My favorite park is Rama 9 Royal Park or Suanluang-ror-9 (in Thai) where bangkokians can walk, relax and exercise. It offers possibilities for many activities – swimming, tennis, jogging, walking, riding, badminton, picnics and a playground for kids. It’s located in the outskirts of Bangkok; Sukhumvit soi103 rd. Rama 9 Royal Park is the biggest park in Bangkok. And it built for celebrating my Majesty the King’s 60th birthday. I love to shoot there and double colorful flowers with a view or people.
Fun! It is such a perfect park for a person who loves nature. It has various kinds of flowers and many international style parks such as Spanish, French, Japanese and English. And it offers possibilities for swimming pool and tennis court. If are you hungry, it has one famous Thai’s restaurant – S&P. I haven’t suggested the menu for you because every menu is really delicious. Or in another way, you can bring some sandwiches for having a picnic. The time that is good for visiting this park is at 6 am-8 am and 4 pm-9 pm because it is not too warm. If you visit at 6 am to 4 pm, you have to pay about 10 baht per a person. But after 4 pm it’s free.
