Looking for a place to relax and unwind? Get out of the city and rest somewhere in Batangas, Philippines! Batangas is the HUB for those who want to beat the heat of the sun during summer. Hence, go there during the summer days or when you just feel the need to. Or a Lomo shoot perhaps. I stayed there a couple of times and I always enjoy taking memories with me through my Holga. I give the sceneries and the amenities 5 out of 5. The best shots I had with my Holga were captured at Punta Fuego, Batangas. It is located at the tip most part of Batangas and it is around 3 to 4 hours travel by land from the metro.
If you’re asking what to shoot, there is the beach, the luxury houses of lawyers, senators, politicians, and artists (just be sure to shoot from the hip!), the mountains, and the trees going to the forest make a good subject! Just don’t forget to bring a bundle of rolls on your trip! You might just miss a favorite sunset shot in the afternoon.
