Palanga Amber Park Museum

Amber is Lithuania’s gold and this museum holds every kind of amber. This time we visited this park early in the morning, so we where alone. It’s a nice feeling when you can hear only the birds and how waves are breaking in to the beach. Amber Museum Park is huge – it starts from the main street of Palanga town and goes till the beach.
You really need to see the Birute hill and temple, Roses Park, youth stairs and Jurate and Kastytis statue. Kastytis is a whipsnake, it’s a creature from an old tail, so he’s like a prince who you need to kiss. Don’t be afraid – every Lithuanian once kissed him :). Inside the park you will find a lot of little ponds, some bridges and a lot of benches. It’s a park for lovebirds so don’t forget to take champagne and truss of grapes. The last but not the least – every time I visit Palanga Amber park I find out a lot of new wonderful places. Next time I will go to the park by bike, because I will repeat – this park is huge.
