Indian Street

I’m writing about the largest Indian street in Malaysia. It is located at Selangor, Klang, Jalan Tengku Kelana. There are few types of transport you can take to reach there, for example bus, taxi, or train. When taking bus from KL to Klang bus station, you are not too far from that. The Klang train station is only ten minutes walk from Indian street.
The shops there are mostly run by Indian people. There are various types of shops. They are selling clothes, accessories, bangles, necklaces, flowers, stainless steel products, textiles and of course saris. Once you step onto the Indian street you can smell the aroma of the special flower which Indian people like the most. During Deepavali, which is the New Year for Indians, the street has transformed into a colorful spectacle of lights and sounds befitting the festival of light. The streets are decorated weeks before the festival. The atmosphere is electrifying and traffic is clogged up as thousands of people make their way from as far as Singapore to purchase something. There are lot of delicious Indian food like Roti Canai, Capati, Thosai, Putu Mayam along the street. When you have chance to come to Malaysia, it is a must for you to go to this special place to know more things about Indian culture and their lifestyle.
