Vacation can be real vacation only if you can get yourself far away from your everyday environment. No phone-calls from your boss “well, maybe you could stop by just for a second, cause we are having difficulties with the project” and so on. If you are far away from your home, you can even start forgetting the day of the week or even the time itself… How to do that? Cars and boats are expensive and quite lazy, so we have to choose planes… Good news: Frankfurt Hahn airport in Germany is one of the best stops in the whole Europe. You know why? Because you can go everywhere you want – this airport and of course some of the air-companies offer cheap flights to… Murcia in Spain or Verona in Italy… Or Africa… Or whatever you want.
What to do – you have to book the flight from your home to Frankfurt Hahn some time earlier and then start thinking where you would like to be on your vacation… As I have tried it several times, the prices are even funny. For example, I did buy the ticket from Kaunas to Frankfurt two months before the flight and then thought, why not going to Verona. Then I started thinking that maybe I could go to Spain – the food is nice and it’s cheaper there… And when the date said “two weeks before your vacation”, I finally did buy the ticket from Hahn to Verona for… the funny 1 euro. How about that? My vacation? It went so great, that I am thinking of doing it every time I have some free time. Need some vacation? Go at least 1000 km from your home, so that nobody would dare to disturb you. It’s vacation time!!!
