I have lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for my entire life. I have seen many things here, but there is always something new (or old) to discover in or around the city. I seldom venture into the downtown heart of my metropolis, but one day I decided to walk block after block while on foot with my LC-A. My friend and I had parked near a local pro shop after being disappointed with the film services and products they offered.

We decided to head toward our city square, Fountain Square. As we walked down wide concrete sidewalks we saw countless skyscrapers bearing down over us. I was impressed as I rarely see skyscrapers up close and personal. We continued walking and passed a park with several statues of American presidents who were from Cincinnati. I quickly snapped two pictures of William Henry Harrison, who was president for only one month because he died from a cold he caught while reading his two hour inauguration speech in the cold rainy weather. We continued toward Fountain Square and I snapped some pictures of a few towering buildings that surrounded us. In all, it was an interesting and fun filled day. I promise to visit my city’s downtown more often, even though parking is sometimes a nightmare.
