In the city of Barcelona there is a place that you must to see and must taste, it’s named CAMPER FoodBALL. Camper (spanish shoes company) + food = FoodBALL – it is all about food culture!
From the first time we entered we wanted to play with food. It is the place where the food has round form, the main meal – the balls made of whole grain ecological rice from Calasparra (Murcia, Spain) filled with various other locally sourced, organic ingredients such as mushrooms, tofu, chicken or beet-root. There are also sweet balls made from dates or carob and various organic drinks such as hemp beer and bancha tea as well as microbiologically pure filtered water. So many rice balls surrounds you and it is hard to choose, but the big round menu map will whisper you the best combinations, where the illustrations of each product done digitally by hand.
You may take away, but we always stayed there. We sat on the stairs like on a real street, but the cosy lamps, the cushions make it like street inside. It is like having picnic on some public steps or like being on a stadium, but there you watch real street life through window.
Take your Fisheye to make rice balls more rounded, Color splash to color them or Horizon to taste them all. It is simple, organic, fresh, bio and handmade. Enjoy your meal!
