Visiting Singapore is never complete without taking the cable car ride. Ride it from its two stations at Sentosa Island www.sentosa.sg or from Mount Faber Jewel Box station http:// www.mountfaber.com.sg/main-cablecar.htm www.mountfaber.com.sg/main-cablecar.htm The cable car provides a fantastic view of Singapore – the sweeping landscapes, the harbor, it’s busy ports, cityscapes, Sentosa island – all very pretty and lomographic!
There’s a total of 81 cabins, suspended around 60m above sea level, round trip travel time is estimated to be about 24 minutes. Buy a round trip ticket for SGD11.90 (adult), SGD6.50 (child) at the Jewel Box station or at Sentosa Island, hop in the cabin, relax and enjoy the breathtaking view. The 24 minute ride is slow but relaxing. For all the romantics out there, dining can be arranged inside the cable car – a perfect setting for a wedding proposal! Make sure though that your partner is not afraid of heights!
