Brighton Town

I live in Brighton and I have lived here for just under 1 year. I moved from London to live in Brighton because I wanted to live in a house close to the sea. Brighton is an amazing little City on the South Coast of England. In fact, they call it London by the sea. I love Brighton because it has so much to offer. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. There is also the added attraction of being on the coast. Generally, coastal areas in the UK tend to be a bit dated and scummy but not Brighton. The beach at Brighton changes every different day you visit. In the winter the waves crash against the coast and in the summer it is like a still swimming pool.
There are two piers in Brighton. There is the West Pier (http://www.westpier.co.uk/) which was burnt down and is now a listed location meaning that it can’t be demolished. The other pier is a paradise of arcade machines and fairground rides (http://www.brightonpier.co.uk/). They do great doughnuts and fish and chips on the pier and the views are fantastic. My favourite restaurant in Brighton is a sushi restaurant called Moshi Moshi (www.moshimoshi.co.uk). It has won several awards for great food.
A great place to visit is the Royal Pavillion which is a historical building in the centre of Brighton.You should definitely come to Brighton one day. I commute to London everyday and it only takes an hour on the train. I know after a hard day in the City that I can go home and soak in the seaside atmosphere! I used slide film in my Color splash for most of the shots. I also used a fisheye for the beach huts.
