Baguio is the Summer Capital of the Philippines and is gifted with a variety of cultural, historical and scenic attractions that make it an important and interesting destination, favored by local and foreign tourists, whole families on vacation, honeymoon couples and large convention groups. Its year-round cool climate is one major attraction for those wanting to experience and entirely different Philippines. Most visitors come up during the months of March, April and May, especially on the Holy Week.
There are different Baguio parks and views wherein you can find “Pool of Pines”, native tribe houses, Cordillera mountains, Baguio Cathedral, Ecological and Botanical Garden, Butterfly Sanctuary, best Strawberries, etc. Tourism is one of Baguio’s major industries. Baguio’s hospitality and other tourism-oriented industries such as woodcraft, metal craft and weaving cater influx of local transient visitors and international tourists. Agriculture remains as Baguio’s main industry.
It could very well be said that the whole of Baguio is a park, the same way the whole of Hong Kong is a mall.
So enjoy the great weather, explore on foot, go bird-watching, explore places and relax, set up a picnic in the park, enjoy the great outdoors.
