Name: Cris Miranda

Location: São Paulo, Brazil.

Please tell us more about yourself.

I am married. We have two cats and a few awesome friends. I just love the unpredictability of film cameras and I am crazy about testing different kinds of films.

When was your first try of a Lomography camera or film? What product was it?

Actually, there were two: Lomography Fisheye No. 2 and Lomography XPro Chrome 100. I bought them at Lomography Store in São Paulo. It’s quite unfortunate that this store is no longer in business.

Was the Lomography product yours or did borrow it from a relative or friend?

Yep, I bought it.

How was the experience? Any funny or strange occurrences?

I had no idea if the shots I took would be acceptable or even if they would even come out at all.
As I was used to shoot with a Pentax MX, using a plastic camera was a challenge! The lenses need much more light, right? I was super excited to see the multiple exposures I did. It turns out that some of my first photos came out unexposed, but even so, I loved the results!

Have you used the Lomography Fisheye No. 2 again? Why or why not?

Sure I have! Every time I travel, I take my Fisheye and some rolls of XPro Chrome film with me.

Can you share us your favourite or most memorable shot from that First Lomo Affair of yours? Why is this your favorite?

I picked this one because there lots of amazing memories that come with it. Besides, I love those bright colors!

How did the Lomography Fisheye No. 2 affect your love for Lomography/film photography?

It absolutely made me interested in trying new ways of taking photos. I could say that I’ve taken more analogue shots than digital ones since I went back on shooting film. Recently, I’ve started taking photographs and posting them on Instagram, but we all know that it’s something completely different.
