Storyboards are a vital aspect of filmmaking as it helps everyone from the director down to the other crew members concerned visualize how a particular scene would go about prior to the production phase itself. Think of it as a frame-by-frame illustrated depiction of an entire scene, one that basically looks like a comic strip.
