The influential sci-fi epic “2001: A Space Odyssey” premiered on April 2, 1968, and is now widely regarded to be one of the greatest movies ever made. The behind-the-scenes photographs in these feature were collated by Retronaut; however, it only lists its own source as “Unknown,” neither was the photographer also identified.
