Kodak TV ad from the '50s teaches you how to photograph dogs

This old television advertisement from film giant Kodak doubles as a brief how-to for taking photos of your beloved pets!

Instead of just promoting their cameras and “film in the familiar yellow box” in a straightforward manner, Kodak also teaches its existing and potential customers how to use them here. It’s most likely because photography is practically something new to the masses, but nevertheless this type of ad is definitely something we don’t see anymore these days. Not only will you be entertained by this clip, you’ll also learn a few tips for when you decide to try your hand at photographing dogs (and kittens!)
