A wide-eyed Salvador Dali swims with clumps of seaweed in his hand and wearing a wig and beard fashioned from more seaweed

With that look on his face and seaweed all over him, Salvador Dali reminds us very much of a sea monster emerging from the deep waters here!

The photo above, aptly titled Surrealist Swim, was taken on January 1, 1955 and is currently part of the Hulton Archive on Getty Images. We’re unable to find any more information about this hilarious snapshot, but based on the date it was taken, perhaps it was shot when Dali was on his holiday break? What do you think?
