Truman Capote Strikes a Pose for the Camera Possibly as a Variation of Santa Claus Beside a Christmas Tree

American author Truman Capote gets into the holiday spirit by wearing a festive costume!

Photo via The Lost Ephemera

This wonderful photo was taken by photographer John Dornés and was said to have appeared in an old magazine. Interestingly, also featured in the same issue were photos of other equally famous people donning period costumes, like TV host and comedian Johnny Carson and artist Andy Warhol!

All information in this article were sourced from The Lost Ephemera.

He's doing the "Ghost of Christmas Present". See Dickens... or any "A Christmas Carol" movie.
