Honestly, plainly looking at these x-ray photos of cameras and lenses is confusing enough for me. Just how do you get to know which camera and lens is featured on the x-rays? Conceptual photographer Guy Viner shows these quirky snaps of his cameras and lenses under the scrutinizing eye of the x-ray machine. When zoomed, Viner’s x-ray photos give a magnified view to where every bit and piece of metal and plastic meet to form a working camera and lens. Viner is also a skilled x-ray technician aside from being a talented photographer.

It’s nice to see photographers experimenting with the gear that they have. These x-rays give us a glimpse into what goes on inside our cameras and lenses. These pictures kinda remind me of the Konstruktor Transparent. I bet it’s real cool if you can assemble the cameras and lenses here without having to worry about breaking the parts. That can be a costly move right there.

You can see Guy Viner’s other photographic works on 500px. He has some crazy good concepts and stylized photographs to boot.
