Here’s a behind-the-scenes photograph from the first James Bond film!
The role of the suave secret agent James Bond is among the most coveted in the film industry, with every actor who gets the part almost always assured of being remembered forever. This photo was taken at the set of the very first Bond film, “Dr. No,” which was directed by Terence Young and released in 1962. Sean Connery has the distinction of depicting this role first, and he would star in six more Bond films namely: “From Russia with Love” (1963), “Goldfinger” (1964), “Thunderball” (1965), “You Only Live Twice” (1967), “Diamonds are Forever” (1971), and “Never Say Never Again” (1983). A total of six actors, including Connery, in 23 films have portrayed Bond on the silverscreen to date.
