Walt Disney Wears a Mickey Mouse Cap a Few Sizes Too Small While Reading to His Grandson

In celebration of Mickey Mouse’s birthday today, here’s a snapshot of the man who created one of the world’s most beloved cartoon characters!

The photograph above was taken sometime in 1955. Here, Disney was said to have been reading a story from a children’s book to one of his grandsons. On a side note, did you know that in July of that year, the very first Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California?
