John Lennon Records a Song While Sitting Upside Down on a Chair

John Lennon has always been the rebellious type. Apparently, that characteristic manifests itself when recording songs as well!

The photo above was said to have been taken during the recording of “Tomorrow Never Knows” by The Beatles. “Tomorrow Never Knows” is part of The Beatles’ seventh album, “Revolver”, released on August 5, 1966. This particular song was recorded on April 6, 7, and 22 the same year, and is credited to the songwriting duo of Lennon and Paul McCartney.
