A Diana+ 75mm Premium Glass Interview With Simon Vidal

A few lucky folks were able to test the brand new Diana+ 75mm Premium Glass Lens before it launched. Simon from Lomography HQ in Vienna took some great shots and we asked him a few questions about his experiences so far with the lens. Head past the jump for some super-sharp but still unmistakably Diana photos!

Hey Simon, how was your experience shooting with the new Diana+ 75mm Premium Glass Lens?

I went to Paris for a weekend and brought the Diana+ 75mm Premium Glass Lens with me to take some pictures.

How is shooting with the Diana Glass Lens different to the regular Diana lens? How do the images differ?

Shooting with the Glass lens is similar to shooting with the regular Diana Lens. You don’t realize that much while you are taking the picture. But I was really amazed by the sharpness when I got the films back from the LomoLab! For me the premium glass lens is the ultimate tool to bring the Diana to another level!

What’s your favorite photo you took whilst testing the lens and why?

This is my favorite photo because it was spontaneous and I really love her funny face!

Have you got any tips for people who start on their Glass-eyed Diana adventure?

Always put your glass lens on, don’t stage your photos and enjoy the moment!

The Diana+ 75mm Premium Glass Lens is available in the Online Shop right now! It will also be available in Lomography Gallery Stores from the start of November.
