Twosday Tuesday: Girls Taking Pictures

Here at Lomography, we always like looking at the creative and random photos submitted by our community members in our downtime. And, amusingly, we find that there are a lot of snapshots that bear striking resemblance to one another even though its respective photographers are from different parts of the globe!

This week, we’re looking at these seemingly “then and now” photos of girls and their cameras. It’s funny how they were angled exactly the same way, only with slightly different arm positioning!

This photo was taken by lazybuddha, a “male from London living in Stockholm,” in Hanoi, Vietnam with a Lomo LC-A loaded with a Kodak Elitechrome EBX film. It’s part of his album, I believe the children are the future….

Meanwhile, istionojr from Bandung, Indonesia took this photo with a Fuji Instax Mini 50S as part of his album, Session: Child-ish pt.1 with a “playground photosession theme.”

Tune in next Tuesday for the next of twin photos! In the meantime, check out our Twosday Tuesday series in the Lomography magazine!
