10 Reasons Manual Film Cameras are Best for Learning by DigitalRev

I've gone on great length about how manual film cameras are an excellent tool for learning. The guys over at DigitalRev feel the same and have a video for you to enjoy!

Dishing out a nice combination of satire and hard truth, DigitalRev has tickled the fancy of many photographers for years. In this video, our hero discusses the merits of shooting with a full manual film camera. Host Kai Man Wong enumerates the best reasons to go analogue, from making you slow down to get to shot, to having a lower chance of getting yourself stabbed.

Do you agree with his observations? Check it out and enjoy!

Been watching those guys for a while and they are right, a film camera makes you think and makes you learn as Im sure many including myself just let the camera and software do most of the work when shooting digital, after becoming used to manual film cameras I would find myself setting my digital camera myself where I can (its a Nikon L810 so not really much manual settings) and my pictures were all the better because of it, auto is good but right now its still not as good as the human working the camera, nice article :)
