The photo above was taken in 1928 at the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer studios in California. Charlotte was an actress and dancer who was active from around 1915 until 1961, and had starred in movies like “Baby Mine” (1928), “Springtime in the Rockies” (1942), and “Oklahoma!” (1955).
Charlotte’s height was pegged at an impressive six feet, and her “long legs” and “high kicks” were her greatest assets. Interestingly, she had once even described herself as the “…only woman in the world who could kick a giraffe in the eye!”
