Nirvana is long gone but never forgotten.
Chiselling their names onto the wall of music greats, the band that had been part of the 90s generation of teens serenading about angst, heartbreak and breaking away from the mainstream. Heart-Shaped Box is part of their 1993 album In Utero that skyrocketed to the number one spot in the Billboard 200.
The video for Heart-Shaped Box is like layer upon layer of double exposures of dreams and visions. Brightly painted backgrounds and amazing vignettes paint the feels incorporated in the song. Kurt Cobain’s guitar riff is reminiscent of the sadness and anger infused together – creating a whole new emotion on its own. Kinda reminds you of Lomography, doesn’t it?
Go ahead and have a listen and have your way with the distinct grunge that only Nirvana can provide. Let the 4 minute 45 second music video take you for a ride.
