The Wet Plate Collodion Process by Quinn Jacobson

Are you still in the dark about what wet plate collodion is? Know all about this awesome process in less than 5 minutes with this educational video!

The buzzword among analogue enthusiasts of late is wet plate collodion. This photographic technique has been around for more than a century, but has seen a resurgence of late. I’ve been itching to try it out for myself but until then, I’ll have to make do with drooling over all the pretty wet plates I see on the net.

If you still aren’t familiar with the process, Quinn Jacobson, who teaches workshops on wet plate, has published a short and sweet video explaining the basics. Is it your cup of tea? Have you tried it out yet? Let us know!
