It's all about the menacing yet impressive creatures of the sea this week on Discovery Channel, so it may come as expected for us to take a look back at the summer flick that brought tales of shark terror to life. We have some more snaps from the filming of Jaws, so read on to take a look and find out more!
Perhaps, there was no movie that so terrorized beach-goers and summer swimmers before the 1975 shark flick Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg and adapted from the novel by Peter Benchley. Since it’s still Shark Week over at Discovery Channel, we thought it’s only but proper for us to look back at this classic summer thriller and flip through more behind the scenes photos from its filming, which was mostly done in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. You might want to take a look at the first set that we previously published, since there’s quite a lot of goofy and scary bits there, then proceed with the gallery below:
Watch the clips below to find out more about the making and filming of Jaws, straight from Steven Spielberg, novelist Peter Benchley (who wrote the book from which the movie was based), producers David Brown and Richard Zanuck and other notable personalities who worked on the iconic shark flick!
