Young Prince Charles helps Queen Elizabeth lift the young Princess Anne through a window

Royal or not, kids will always be kids, ever curious and playful, like Prince Charles and Princess Anne in their youth!

Photo via Retronaut

The world has been abuzz over the birth of George Alexander Louis, son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the newest member of the British Royal Family. While it won’t be a few years more before we see Prince George of Cambridge playing around under the watchful eyes of his mum, we can instead look back at the younger days of Prince George’s own granddad, Prince Charles. In the photo above taken in 1952, Queen Elizabeth helps the young Prince Charles and Princess Anne climb up and through a window of the Balmoral Castle, possibly having called them home after some moments of play outdoors. How adorable!
