A Portrait of a Half-Clean Cut and Half-Shaven Donald Sutherland

Because symmetry is so overrated.

Nope, there’s no photomanipulation happening here if that’s what you’re thinking.

For those who are not familiar, Donald Sutherland is an award-winning Canadian actor who has been in the business for nearly 50 years. His body of work includes The Dirty Dozen, M*A*S*H, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Pride and Prejudice and The Hunger Games. The photo above is from a series taken by Co Rentmeester in 1970 in Sutherland’s home in California.

I don’t know about you, but there’s something really attractive about that cheeky smile of his. It’s enough to distract the fact that he’s only half-way done through a cut and a shave. What do you guys think, does he look better with the facial fluff or cleancut is the way to go?

  1. This comment is not about the photo, but about the annoying "action video" on the right side of the screen. It is very distracting, almost to the point of being annoying! Please remove it ASAP!
