JFK Jr. Peeking Curiously from Under his Father’s Desk

Being the first born of the American President definitely scores you an enormous share of the spotlight.

Photo via Iconic Photos

John F. Kennedy, Jr. was born sixteen days after his father was elected to the presidency, and being the first born of a man who has just been elected as the American President definitely scores you an enormous share of the spotlight.

Despite reports that Mrs. Kennedy was against her children being photographed for political purposes, this photo sure made the headlines!

The young John Jr. is shown peeking from the panel of the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office of the White House as his father reads the papers. He called the desk his ”house” back then and the panel a ”secret door.”

The desk was apparently a gift from Queen Victoria to President Rutherford Hayes and has been used in by several presidents, including John F. Kennedy.

Even political families have their tender moments. What an adorable father and son photo this is!
