A Makeup Test Shot of Grace Kelly

In the world of filmmaking, makeup and wardrobe are key factors in establishing a character. Hence, it is essential to get test shots done to make these elements appear just right in film.

The photo above is a test shot of the late Hollywood icon (and later on, princess consort of Monaco) Grace Kelly as she portrays the character Princess Alexandra in the 1956 film, The Swan.

Although, we can all agree that given her beauty and inherent aura of elegance, it didn’t take much effort to make her look like royalty, eh?
