Andy Warhol Exchanging Pleasantries with the Late Pope John Paul II

I wonder if Andy was able to take the Pope’s photo with that camera of his? That would be a sight to see!

This photo depicting Andy Warhol, his manager Fred Hughes, and the late Pope John Paul II was taken in 1980 at the Vatican.

I wonder if they were able to hit it off? It’ll be interesting to see a portrait of the late Holy See done in pop art style, don’t you think?
