Young passenger looking lost and worried asking a station attendant for directions

"Dear sir, might you know where my mum is?"

Photo via Vintage Everyday

J. R. R. Tolkien may have once said, “Not all those who wander are lost,” but this super adorable kid has wandered and is definitely lost, we can tell from that look on his face! The stylish, intrepid, and young traveler asking a Bristol Railway Station attendant for directions was photographed by George W. Hales in 1936 England. Unfortunately, that’s all we know about this nice photograph. We hope our charming little commuter here managed to get to his destination safe and sound!
